The main objective of the coaching client (the coachee) and the coach is for the client to become more aware about his or her reality, about the values she lives by, and the choices she makes. Then, the client, with the support of the coach, makes important decisions about career, health, family life, spare time, etc., the client and together with the coach set the right goals, and determine the needed resources for achieving those goals. The coachee is responsible for reaching the goals and the coach provides guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the process.

In the short term, coaching provides awareness and responsibility to solve current problems and reach operational objectives. In the long term, coaching provides a better quality of life.
